Over 100,000 Americans have signed a petition urging Congress to launch an impeachment investigation into President Trump's egregious violations. Trump has flagrantly disregarded the Emoluments Clauses by profiting from foreign governments through his business interests, undermining a critical anti-corruption safeguard. His 2024 campaign was rife with threats of violence, racist rhetoric endangering communities, and likely violations of campaign finance laws. Since taking office, Trump has abused the pardon power, stripped citizens of their citizenship unlawfully, dismantled oversight, unlawfully fired government officials, sought retribution against adversaries, and usurped state/local authority and legislative powers - a continuous pattern of lawlessness and disregard for constitutional constraints. This widespread public support demonstrates the need for congressional leaders to uphold their duty by initiating an immediate impeachment inquiry to hold the president accountable and preserve our democracy.
