As school starts again here in Oregon, my kids have gone to school a total of one day each before there was another school shooting. I have run out of kind ways to ask for this: PASS COMPREHENSIVE GUN CONTROL LAWS NOW. Our kids are not safe. Our communities are not safe. Our country is not safe. Every day when I drop them off, I have a pit in my stomach out of fear that someone will come into their school with a gun. Can you imagine how many other parents feel this way? Now is the time for bold action. The children of America are counting on you.
