Keep pressing for transparency—don’t let the Epstein vote die

To: Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Quakertown, PA

July 23

I’m writing to urge you—and your caucus—to stay the course and continue forcing a vote on the unsealing of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The early recess, justified by House Republican leadership, is a clear attempt to dodge accountability—not a resolution to the issue. This fight is about transparency, accountability, and ensuring that no individual—no matter how connected—falls outside the rule of law. The push from Representatives like Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie, and the powerful discharge petition, symbolically and tactically hold Republicans and Speaker Mike Johnson accountable on the floor . We cannot accept procedural delays as an answer. The public deserves the full story. Justice demands it as well. Please do not back down, do not accept excuses, and do not let this moment slip away. - Continue forcing votes, including a discharge petition if needed. - Use the full power of the floor, including extended speeches and procedural maneuvers, to keep this issue alive. - Stand firm against early recesses and procedural tricks meant to shield wrongdoing. This is bigger than politics. It’s about whether our democracy still values accountability and transparency—or whether power and privilege will always win. The country is watching. Please don’t stop now.
