I can’t say that I’m shocked that Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republicans shut down the work of Congress to protect Trump from accountability over the Epstein files - “to give cover to President Trump” as one Republican Congressman (Mullin) admitted. The Congressmen who voted for this way are all abandoning their constitutional responsibilities in order to serve Trump’s personal interests. Your constituents and all Americans demand the truth. The girls and women who were raped, assaulted, and threatened by Epstein, Maxwell, and other abusers deserve justice and accountability. We will settle for no less. And we will not forget.
