I recently heard about HB807 which is proposing a registry of pregnant women in the state of Missouri and are at risk of having an abortion. I am extremely concerned about this. I believe it would lead women to be dishonest to their doctors, avoid necessary healthcare or be at a higher risk for pregnancy or birth complications due to feeling monitored or fear of retaliation for making a medical decision with their providers. This is unacceptable and unnecessary. I ask that you reject this bill.
