We need you to protect our social welfare programs. They are not a drain on the system. The tax cuts for the rich, DOGE, and the overly packed military budget irrefutably are drains on government funds. I know of at least 100 people in our district who voted for you who won't be in the future and regret putting their hope in you. That was before this reconciliation bill. It's due to how you have conducted your town halls, how you ignore their messages, and their dying faith in you to do right by us. Use this reconciliation to turn the tide. prove to the people who gave you your power that they made the right choice. The programs this bill threatens are life-saving for millions in this country. This includes the people who are counting on you to give us a voice and protect and represent us. Please do the right thing. The loss of funding for these programs will result in the death of our most vulnerable populations. it's this simple. If you would like to continue to have the power you currently have, represent us which is why you have your power in the first place, or lose that power and allow millions of Americans to be harmed or killed because you were too afraid to speak up. Speak up and be loud. I strongly dislike writing letters like this. I want to be able to write to you and celebrate the good you do. But right now, I can't do that because I don't hear you. I don't hear you assuring us that we can count on you to represent us. I can't because I don't hear you speaking up for us when we need you to and when you have the power to. Do things to help us be able to celebrate you and our decision to elect you. Thank you for reading this and I hope the next letter I write to you will be to thank you for looking out for us.
