SHAME ON YOU.
Texas is already facing serious water scarcity, and yet you voted for a measure that puts not only people at risk, but also the wildlife and ecosystems that are already under immense pressure. Your vote to undermine protections in Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota is reckless, shortsighted, and completely indefensible.
You chose to override local voices, scientific evidence, and the long‑term health of America’s public lands in order to benefit a foreign mining corporation. That is not leadership. That is not representation. That is a betrayal of the public trust.
How did you possibly justify voting yes on HJ Res 140? What calculation made you decide that sacrificing protected lands and clean water was acceptable?
Your decision brings even more shame to the already dismal reputation of Texas representation in Washington. I will actively support and vote for any candidate who runs against you, because you have made it clear you do not serve the people — you serve industry interests at the expense of our future.
Do better. Texas deserves better.
