I’m writing with a constituent concern. As a wife and mother in a household of practicing Jews, I urge you to oppose the National Defense Authorization Act due to Section 219 and S.4784 due to Section 1217. We believe that life is sacred, including the lives of Palestinians, and the US-Israel military alliance needs more checkpoints, not fewer. The current coalition government in Israel is demonstrating a total disregard for human life in favor of retribution and expansion of its borders. I urge you to oppose and filibuster these bills and instead insist on adherence to international law regarding human rights.
