Don't let Pam Bondi skate. Demand contempt; Make Comer do his job
To: Rep. Golden
From: A verified voter in Lewiston, ME
April 22
Pam Bondi failed to comply with the subpoena of the House Oversight committee--even though it applies to her whether in post or not.
Now James Comer, the committee chair, is not only failing to hold her accountable, but he is also failing to do his job as committee chair, since he has not scheduled any future meetings.
This is an appalling betrayal--it is a betrayal of the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. It is a betrayal of the principle that all are subject to the same rule of law; it is a betrayal of the duty to enforce Congressional subpoenas. It is also a betrayal of Rep. Comer's job and sworn duty. And it is a betrayal of us, the American people, who expect our duly elected representatives to do the job they are paid to do and swore to do.
Please:
Demand that Comer schedule regular meetings of the Oversight Committee
Please:
Use all the tools at your disposal to compel Pam Bondi's appearance and testimony. Including inherent contempt.
Please do not allow Todd Blanche to sweep the Epstein scandal under the carpet.
It is an outrage that there have been no arrests (apart from Maxwell) and no consequences for the perpetrators.
Do not tolerate this!
Please reply to let me know what actions you will be taking.
