From brazenly attempting to subvert free and fair elections to stonewalling legitimate congressional oversight, the authoritarian rot is metastasizing, demanding an uncompromising defense of the rule of law and constitutional order. As elected representatives sworn to safeguard our democracy, it is imperative to take decisive action against these egregious abuses of power and reestablish the system of checks and balances. The very survival of our democratic republic hangs in the balance - we must stand resolute against this onslaught and protect our nation's sacred democratic traditions at all costs.
