I'm your constituent and I'm contacting my legislators to demand that you stand firmly against a war against Iran, and any further involvement of U.S. troops, intelligence, and equipment in the Middle East. We have needs to meet in our state that are not being met. Any member of Congress that supports deepening our involvement in a larger conflict is not supporting the needs of their constituents. You work for us, and the American people do not want more war.
We’ve seen Israel’s ground invasion into Lebanon. Israel has also targeted Syria and Yemen while it continues to bomb civilian safe zones in Gaza. Way over 40,000 people are dead and I am ashamed that so many members of Congress keep voting to support the bloodshed. Iran has already launched missiles into Israel. American people do not want Any further escalation escalation of U.S.-Israeli aggression in the Middle East! We want peace, we want Congress to invest in our needs at home and not death abroad. We have people who are unhoused or can’t afford healthcare. We’ve seen how the wars in the Middle East have played out for the last twenty years. Do not drag us into another war. Say no to escalation. You must not support any measure or budget that sends more troops or weapons to escalate this conflict! Stand with the people! Stop bowing down to foreign billionaires!
I look forward to hearing how you will ensure that my tax money isn't being used to kill innocent civilians in foreign countries.
