Protect the Roadless Rule and the USFS

To: Sen. Moody, Rep. Mills, Sen. Scott

From: A verified voter in Casselberry, FL

April 3

I want to adamantly reiterate my opposition to the dismantling of the USFS and the planned increase of logging for timber in currently federally protected forests. This practice would take away protections from lands that we live on, not only beautiful lands that make America what it is, but literally lands we all call home. Budgetary arguments for destroying conservation efforts are short sighted and ill-planned. Do not allow this overreach of the executive branch to undermine decades of protections, including the Roadless Rule. Conservation protects all of us. It also protects tourism in those areas. If those lands are lost, the money made from tourism is also lost. So there's your budgetary argument.
