I am profoundly disappointed and ANGRY that Congress appears ready to pass a deal that fails to extend the ACA premium tax credits. These credits are the only reason many families, including my own, can afford health insurance! This is inexcusable. It represents a failure of leadership and a devastating betrayal of party and the American people. Senators, thank you for voting no. Representative Jacobs, I expect you to vote no when this bill comes back to the House. Congress must do better. Senator Schumer must be called on to step down immediately. Please make it clear, publicly and immediately, that you will not stand by while American families are sacrificed for "compromise."
