I am your constituent and I want you to know that the way Traditional Medicare is currently set up is an 80/20 plan. Medicare pays 80% and the patient pays 20%. There is no limit on that 20% either. If you were unable to qualify (due to health underwriting or cost) for a Medi-gap plan, then when that large bill shows up you owe 20%. On a $1,000,000 bill - that’s $200,000. Which of us can afford to do that? Until we have Universal Healthcare, like HR 3069, the Medicare for All (of us) Act seniors need help. I want you to actively support and enact S. 4886, the Medicare Cost Cap Act, to limit seniors out f pocket expenses to $5000. Then pass Universal Healthcare so we don’t have to have all these band aid fixes for the healthcare systems in America. Here is a link to the bill so you can read it for yourself. https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/4886/all-info
