Conflating being in defense of Palestinians and being pro-Hamas is a tactic that makes Jewish people like me less safe in this world despite doing it in the name of Jews or in the name of Israel. This also makes the world less safe and certainly denies the dignity and worth of Palestinians everywhere and puts their lives and well-being at great risk. Arresting people with green cards and intentionally labeling protest as terrorism is disgusting and divisive and is cutting at our freedom of speech. You must speak out. You must oppose these tactics. They are coming for us and you know it. Let me and your other constituents know what you are doing to keep us safe and our fellow citizens safe from this creeping encroachment on our freedoms. Please tell me what your plans are and give your constituents guidance on what to do. Please, don’t look away!
