Co-Sponsor HR 9694 and Force DOJ Compliance on Epstein Files

To: Rep. McClintock, Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff

From: A constituent in El Dorado Hills, CA

August 8

Co-sponsor HR 9694 and use your platform to demand the DOJ comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The Department of Justice has stonewalled this law, and every day of delay is another day victims are denied the justice they deserve. This was the most extensive child trafficking conspiracy in American history, and the public has a right to know what those files contain. HR 9694 would require the DOJ to hand over unredacted records to state and local prosecutors for use in investigations, prosecutions, and judicial proceedings, including secure access to classified materials. It would also give victims unredacted files that pertain directly to them. These are not abstract policy goals. These are tools that could put traffickers behind bars and finally give survivors the acknowledgment they have been fighting for. The survivors of Epstein's network have waited long enough. Co-sponsoring HR 9694 is a direct, concrete step you can take right now to stand with them. Push your colleagues. Force the DOJ's hand. Victims of child trafficking deserve a representative who fights loudly on their behalf, not one who stays quiet while a federal agency ignores the law.
