I am writing as a constituent to express my deep disappointment that you did not support efforts to roll back increased ICE funding or demand meaningful accountability.
At a moment when federal law enforcement actions have resulted in civilian deaths and widespread public concern, this was an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, restraint, and a commitment to oversight. Instead, your vote signaled continued support for an agency that has shown it cannot effectively police itself.
This is not about party politics. It is about accountability, transparency, and the constitutional duty of Congress to act as a check on executive power. Failing to support reform in this moment further erodes public trust.
I urge you to reconsider your position and publicly support independent oversight, reduced funding for militarized enforcement, and real accountability moving forward.
