I am writing to ask that the Senator vote no on Jay Clayton's nomination. Anyone who is willing to publicly humiliate himself for Donald Trump by refusing to acknowledge the winner of the 2020 election is not someone who has the spine or integrity to serve as Director of National Intelligence. In addition, Tood Blanche has shown himself to be eminently unfit to serve as Attorney General. He has made clear that he believes that he serves Donald Trump and not the American public. It's mind-boggling that we've gone in just two decades from it being a scandal that the President and the Attorney General landed on the same tarmac and greeted each other to a situation in which the nominee for Attorney General describes himself as the President's lawyer. In addition, Blanche's handling of the Epstein investigation, his coddling of Ghislaine Maxwell, and his treatment of the Epstein survivors has been so disgraceful and dishonest that he should be facing disbarment rather than confirmation procedures. Vote no on both of these unacceptable nominees. Thank you.
