Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse for the VA. He served veterans. He was also the legal owner of a firearm. You have strongly supported 2nd Amendment rights, including conceal/carry laws, so I’m sure you understand this right to, as you argued, to protect against a “tyrannical government”. He also served veterans which you consistently claim to respect. Recall when these conceal carry laws were being considered, many law enforcement agencies were against the laws, stating that arming untrained persons, would put law enforcement in danger. MO even wanted to make it possible for MO state law enforcement to file charges or arrest federal law enforcement agents IF they were enforcing federal law that was more stringent. So, you have hitched your wagon to all of these firearm laws to protect against a ‘tyrannical government’. So, then Saturday, 24 Jan 2026 occurred. Several people, including Mr. Pretti, were recording and using whistles to alert people that DHS personnel were in the area. Mr. Pretti, legally carrying a firearm, was using his camera to film the situation. He never drew his firearm. He and another lady were shoved, as he tried to help the lady, federal employees sprayed them both with some chemical spray and then separated and threw him to the ground. One of those government monsters pulled the still holstered firearm from him and thus he was NO longer a ‘deadly’ threat. But he was still shot, probably 10 or more times – many IN THE BACK. Watch the videos, slow them down, watch them again. It appears the federal government committed murder in cold blood. Very quickly your administration stated he was a ‘domestic terrorist’ and he wanted to ‘massacre law enforcement’. He was exercising his Constitutional right, acting peacefully and yet HE was the one attacked by YOUR government monsters. Even then, he NEVER drew his weapon. What is lacking is any proof to back up these disgusting claims – yet your administration continues to tell lies to Americans who can damn well see with out own eyes he has not drawn a weapon, he had not attacked government personnel and that 5 or 6 personnel attacked him and killed him. It appears one government person just unloaded their weapon into a man who was near death or already dead from 4 shots seconds before. My question is 1. Do you support Mr. Bovino words that anyone carrying a firearm will be shot? 2. DO you agree with DHS when they say it’s unlawful carry a firearm to a protest, or rally? If you do, what law covers this situation? 3. Will you demand hearings, immediately, to call the DHS leadership to testify UNDER OATH, and conduct oversight of the actions of this event? Corrective action is needed ASAP and YOU need to act. I look forward to your reply without delay.
