Restore the $68 million in Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program grants that the Trump administration just canceled. Cutting 53 of 67 grants to organizations doing proven, effective work is not a policy decision — it's sabotage of a program that has delivered real results for American families and communities. The Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program was created in 2010 and directly accelerated the decline in teen birth rates. That's a public health win and an economic one. Young people who avoid early unplanned pregnancies are more likely to finish school, enter the workforce, and contribute to a stronger, more competitive country. The administration's claim that these programs "promoted sexual activity" is a distortion — organizations like South Carolina's Fact Forward have flatly denied it, and program directors say their materials were deliberately misrepresented. Courts already blocked this same move during Trump's first term. The United States cannot afford to gut the programs that keep young people healthy, educated, and on track. Every dollar cut here costs far more down the line in healthcare, lost productivity, and social services. Fight to reinstate this funding.
