VOTE NO ON H.J. Res. 140.

To: Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in State College, PA

April 15

The House already passed H.J. Res. 140 a resolution that would wipe out the 20-year mining ban protecting the Boundary Waters watershed in Minnesota. 225,000 acres of Superior National Forest. 1,100 lakes. The most visited wilderness in the country. If the Senate passes it and Trump signs it, the protections are gone. And the company that wants to mine there? It’s Chilean-owned Twin Metals, which plans to ship the ore to China. This isn’t “America First.” This is selling out American public lands to foreign interests permanently. DO YOUR JOB BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND VOTE NO ON H.J. Res. 140.
