Donald Trump cannot just accept a $400 million “gift” from the royal family of Qatar. That’s not diplomacy—it’s corruption, plain and simple. Congress needs to step in right now. We need a full, independent investigation. That means public hearings and a special counsel, because the American people deserve to know exactly what Trump promised in return for this flying palace. Did he break bribery laws? Did he violate the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause? And why did taxpayer-funded lawyers at the DOJ and White House sign off on this? Especially with Pam Bondi’s past as a Qatar lobbyist. From the very beginning, this country has stood against our leaders being bought by foreign powers. But right now, the White House is basically up for sale. And you’d have to be incredibly naïve to think Qatar handed over a luxury jet out of kindness. This is brazen. This is public. And if Congress doesn’t act, they’re not just letting it happen—they’re part of it.
