Rep Golden; Your vote as one of 7 Dems to continue funding ICE at a vastly inflated rate on the very day that ICE agents perpetrated monstrous abuse in Maine is unconscionable. Did you read about the non criminal civil engineer whose car was left running when he was snatched? Or see the local police statement about the danger of doing that? Did you hear about the young college student who came as a refugee from Gabon, graduated high school early and has legal status? Did you read about the mother snatched after dropping her children at school? None of them criminals. This is not law enforcement this is brutality. What about ICE's "memo" giving themselves permission to break into peoples houses. Hint: read the 4th amendment-- you swore to uphold it. You decide not to run again and cited threats against your family. Apparently you have zero empathy for residents of Maine with legal status who now face threats due to ICE. I am beyond appalled by your support for a lawless over budgeted agency which is perpetrating crimes, spreading terror, violating the constitution and due process and risks setting off civil war. Shame on you. Your vote was the vote of a moral monster.
