I urge you to vote NO, *AGAIN*, on HR 9495. Not only that, please convince the Democrats who voted for it the other day that they need to vote NO this time. The last thing any Democrat should be doing right now is anything that will make it easier for Trump and the GOP to target dissenting nonprofits. I'm frankly astonished that ANY Democrat voted for it the first time, much less almost 70 of them! You all must know that giving Trump that kind of unilateral power is absolutely insane. I get that there are people who don't want pro-Palestinian groups to receive any funding from anyone in the US. However, it's obvious that Trump will abuse any such power to target anyone and any group that doesn't bow down to him. It's madness. I know AIPAC, the ADL, and the RJC really want this bill to pass, but you can't let it. It's un-American and shameful. I'm Jewish, by the way. These groups don't speak for me. We must not acquiesce to authoritarianism in advance. This bill will do that. Please do everything you can to shut down HR 9495. Thank you.
