Federal health workers across agencies are being targeted and harassed through an online "DEI Watch List" that publishes their personal information, photos, and doxes them as "targets" or "dossiers." This disturbing intimidation tactic aims to silence those working on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives vital to improving public health for all. Such scare tactics create an environment of fear, paranoia, and self-censorship that ultimately undermines the critical public health mission. We must protect these dedicated public servants from harassment and threats so they can continue their important work without fear of retaliation. Shielding federal employees from intimidation safeguards not just their personal security but also the integrity of federal health agencies serving all Americans. Concrete actions are needed to identify and hold accountable those behind this unacceptable targeting campaign.
