Specifically, it is the U.S. funding of Israel's actions against Palestinian civilian populations and the provision of arms that foster this desolation, which begs immediate redress. Crimes against humanity cannot and must not be tolerated. It is crucial to remember that these term encompasses not just large-scale massacres but also many forms of gross, systemic inequality that persist daily. As the champion of global values such as liberty, justice, and equality, it is not just within America's power but it is its responsibility to ensure that these values do not remain mere ideals but become realities for the vulnerable.
