Speak out against the Trump administration's executive order restructuring childhood vaccine recommendations. This decision belongs to scientists and physicians, not politicians, and the damage to public trust in our health institutions is real and immediate.
The MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and splitting it into three separate shots spread across multiple doctor visits has no scientific basis. Dr. Richard Besser, a former acting CDC director and pediatrician, put it plainly: the administration is "injecting politics into decisions that should be based on health and science." When a former CDC director tells parents to stop consulting the CDC for vaccine guidance and turn instead to the American Academy of Pediatrics, that is a five-alarm warning about how badly this has gone wrong.
Medicine must be guided by evidence, not executive orders. Families deserve health recommendations they can trust, and that trust is built over decades of rigorous science. Stand up publicly against this politicization of childhood health policy and push back on any further federal interference in vaccine science.
