I am writing to implore you to vote NO on Robert F Kennedy Jr’s confirmation as the head of Health and Human Services. I understand that you are interested in him because he has been fighting against chemicals in food, but ask the president to find someone else who is willing to make our food safer who also understands vaccine science. RFK Jr is a man with a background in Economics and law, not a person with a medical or health background. He has a proven background of fighting against lifesaving vaccines, routinely misunderstanding, incorrectly citing, and sometimes falsifying data. He has used his name to perpetuate myths and bad science about the MMR vaccine that led to several deadly measles outbreaks in Tonga and Samoa. He does not have a scientific or medical background, even an alternative one, befitting of such a position. Please, for the sake of our children, immunocompromised adults, and seniors, vote no on his confirmation.
