Good afternoon. Americans have been taught to pay our bills. It is disturbing to witness the GOP willingness to implode our economy and destroy trillions of dollars of the value in the retirement accounts of millions of retired Americans and Americans who hoped to retire. These GOP actions are beyond reckless. This intransigence only hurts common Americans, and American businesses. These are debts already incurred. We pay our bills, so do it. If the GOP would like to be involved in budgeting moving forward then it should do so but it should not pick now to destroy our economy. No one wins. Not a word was said when these costs were being incurred under Trump. This stupid self dealing Russian roulette needs to be stopped and the GOP needs to stop being a party bent on anarchy. They need to learn from conservative parties throughout the rest of the civilized world and not be supporting inaction and isolation. Pass a bill to pay the bills that have already been incurred. Forcing a recession upon Americans NOW to please the ego of unelected billionaires is not a viable economic plan. We deserve better.
