No Cuts to Medicare or Medicaid

To: Sen. Moran, Rep. Estes, Sen. Marshall

From: A constituent in Wichita, KS

February 27

The proposed cuts to Medicare and Medicaid by the Trump administration are concerning and could have severe consequences for millions of Americans who rely on these vital programs. As a taxpayer and citizen, I strongly urge you to reject any plans that would reduce funding or access to Medicare and Medicaid. These programs provide essential healthcare coverage for our nation's elderly, disabled, and low-income populations. Cutting their benefits would not only jeopardize the well-being of vulnerable communities but also strain our healthcare system and economy. Instead, I implore you to prioritize strengthening and preserving these programs to ensure all Americans have access to quality, affordable healthcare. The long-term costs of neglecting Medicare and Medicaid far outweigh any perceived short-term savings. Please stand firm in protecting the health and welfare of your constituents by opposing cuts to these vital safety nets.
