Oppose HB 1639/SB 1880 which would create a state office of Homeland Security within the Department of Safety. This office would have powers so broad it could target political opponents, activists, or anyone labeled a “terrorist”. And it would make all records confidential. It is a threat to all of us and anyone who believes in peaceful protest.
