Investigate and hold accountable every official at the DOJ and USPS who pushed this scheme to weaponize mail delivery against voters. Trump's March executive order restricting mail voting is unconstitutional. A federal court blocked it, 24 Democratic attorneys general won a ruling invalidating it, and the First Circuit upheld that ruling. Then, on a Friday night, the USPS released a rule to implement it anyway, explicitly racing to beat the 2026 election deadline. That is not bureaucratic delay. That is defiance of a court order.
The Constitution is unambiguous: states control voter rolls, not the federal government and certainly not the Postal Service. Congress never gave USPS authority to decide which ballots get delivered based on whether a voter appears on a list Trump approves. The USPS's own rule compared mail ballots to cremated remains and replica explosives to justify this power grab. That is Orwellian nonsense designed to suppress votes, not protect them.
Pass legislation making explicit that the USPS must deliver all mail, ballots included, without condition. Then launch a full investigation into every DOJ and USPS official who participated in crafting and releasing this rule in defiance of a federal injunction. Contempt of court is not a policy disagreement. It is a crime.
