I am fed up that millions of working Americans who have no health insurance at work and currently have Medicaid will lose it in 2028. I am fed up that Supplemental Nutrition Assistance has been cut punishing about 11% of the 42 million who can’t get enough to eat. I am fed up with the U.S. government keeping the minimum wage at $7.25 for 17 years and keeping so many people poor. You claim to be pro family, pro children and to love our country - well here is your chance to demonstrate it. We need a health insurance system that is not designed to generate wealth, but to cover patients - we need Universal healthcare. It will cover all of us, and save our country about $800 billion every year in excess overhead and un-negotiated prescriptions. We need to make sure that every young child has child care. We need to make sure that everyone can afford to get enough to eat. We need to make sure that everyone who wants to go to school can - and not with predatory lending schemes. Other countries, like Croatia, make sure costs are covered. We are way richer than Croatia - but we give our wealth to billionaires instead of helping ourselves. This is a big list, healthcare, nutrition, fair wages, childcare and education and you need to stand up for the vast majority of Americans and turn this country around before we become just a nation of serfs with no voice in our lives, our future or our country. I will listen to your words, and watch your actions and I will act accordingly.
