I am watching in disbelief as qualified civil servants are being fired and our government is being dismantled. How can you be ok with an unelected billionaire with his own personal agenda dismantling everything that we have built as a country? What will it take for you to stop him? Or will it be too late by the time you realize that he’s taken your job too? There is supposed to be a separation of powers. Congress is supposed to serve as oversight for the federal government. Congress is supposed to control the budget. Congress is supposed to make laws, pass bills, regulate commerce, control spending. Only Congress can amend the constitution. Congress is supposed to regulate interstate and foreign commerce (not Elon Musk). Congress is supposed to control taxing and spending policies (not the President or the billionaire). Congress is supposed to serve as the voice of the people not the voice of the president. You are not doing the job you were sent to do. Things are crumbling fast. Please step up while you still have a voice.
