Senator, As a proud native Texan and an AARP member, I urge you to reject any discussions of cuts to our hard earned Social Security and Medicare. You must protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare, and you must help family caregivers save time and money and get more support. I am glad Medicare will be able to negotiate the price of prescription drugs; please keep working to lower out of control prescription drug processes for all older Americans. Moving forward, I urge you always to consider the interest of Americans 50 – plus and act on behalf of your older constituents which helps ALL families.
