Veto SB3. Texans want regulated, safe and effective THC products.

To: Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Sen. Campbell, Rep. Isaac

From: A constituent in Wimberley, TX

July 22, 2025

Veto SB3 during the 2025 special session. The restriction of THC containing products is overwhelmingly unpopular with Texans (53% per https://www.fox7austin.com/news/texas-thc-ban-sb-3-poll). SB3 to restrict THC containing products in the State of Texas negatively impacts suffering veterans, the elderly, people with autoimmune diseases, and more. Lt. Gov. Patrick's overly aggressive attempts to ban THC products in the state of Texas is outdated. The Texas Compassionate Use program has been a self-described failure (https://www.dps.texas.gov/sites/default/files/documents/rsd/cup/docs/cupAccessibiltyRecommendations.pdf) Texas needs the tax revenue from a well formed and well regulated legal THC industry. Listen to constituents. SB3 is deeply unpopular with the people of the state you represent. Veto SB3
