Stop U.S. Military Aid to Israel and Demand Accountability for Gaza War Crimes

To: Sen. Schiff, Rep. Jacobs, Sen. Padilla

From: A verified voter in San Diego, CA

November 16

We are witnessing one of the most devastating humanitarian crises of our lifetime. Since the cease-fire agreement was announced, Israel has continued to kill Palestinians at horrifying rates. Civilians—especially children—remain the primary victims. Entire neighborhoods have been annihilated, hospitals destroyed, aid workers and journalists targeted, and families wiped from the civil registry. These are not “accidents.” These are documented violations of international humanitarian law. The United States cannot continue funding this slaughter. Every bomb dropped, every child buried under rubble, every mother grieving a son or daughter, is tied to American weapons, American diplomatic cover, and American silence. The truth is clear: Israel has committed war crimes. The indiscriminate bombing of civilians, collective punishment, forced displacement, starvation tactics, and systematic attacks on medical infrastructure are all violations of the Geneva Conventions. These actions demand public condemnation, international accountability, and a total cutoff of U.S. support. I am calling on you to: 1. Withhold all U.S. military funding, weapons, and logistical support to Israel immediately. 2. Demand a permanent cease-fire and full humanitarian access to Gaza. 3. Support international investigations, including the ICC and U.N. mechanisms, into Israel’s war crimes. 4. Publicly condemn Israel’s violations of international law and call for accountability without exceptions. 5. Reject all future arms packages or aid bills that would enable further violence. 6. Stand with your constituents in supporting boycotts of corporations that fund, profit from, or enable Israel’s military actions. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed—many after the so-called cease-fire began. More than entire generations have been erased. Children have been bombed, starved, and orphaned. This is a preventable catastrophe, and history will remember who acted, who ignored the truth, and who looked away. We demand moral courage. We demand accountability. We demand that the United States stop funding Israel’s war crimes and stand on the side of justice for Gaza. A permanent cease-fire, full humanitarian access, and an end to U.S. complicity cannot wait.
