We must not let the rule of law be undermined. The Constitution outlines a system of checks and balances that has safeguarded our democracy for centuries. No one, not even the president, is above the law. The Trump administration's defiance of court orders and attempts to consolidate power are a direct threat to our democratic ideals. It is imperative that Congress asserts its authority as a co-equal branch of government. Subpoena Elon Musk and investigate his role in undermining government systems. Hold public hearings to shed light on this administration's contempt for the Constitution. And if necessary, pursue impeachment to remove officials who have violated their oath to uphold the laws of this nation. We cannot allow a slide into authoritarianism. The American people deserve leaders who respect our founding principles of limited government and separation of powers. Inaction in the face of such blatant lawlessness will only embolden further abuses of power. Defend democracy by using the checks prescribed in the Constitution to rein in this rogue administration.
