It's outrageous that masked federal agents arrested the Mayor of Newark for attempting to inspect a local detention facility that had failed to demonstrate it was up to fire codes. Why are they wearing masks? Why arrest and detain an elected official? These sorts of tactics are not consistent with a free society. Anyone, including Congressman Lawler, who has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, has an obligation to speak out.
