Expand the Supreme Court to 13 Justices

To: Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff, Rep. Chu

From: A verified voter in Pasadena, CA

July 31

Expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices. Six of the nine current justices were appointed by Republican presidents, three of them by Donald Trump alone. That's not a balanced court — it's a captured one, and it's making decisions that affect every American's rights and daily life. The argument for 13 is straightforward: we have 13 federal circuit courts, and the Supreme Court should reflect that structure. Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have all backed this reform. Even Gavin Newsom, a longtime skeptic, is coming around. The momentum is real. Get on the right side of this and co-sponsor legislation to expand the court now.
