I'm writing to urge you to support companion bills ( S. 4115 and H.R.7995) the BETS OFF Act, to regulate betting on political events. Senator Murphy said it would "limit the betting opportunities that he calls "ripe for rigging.". "The primary objective is to stop what the sponsors refer to as insider trading, corruption, manipulation, and the creation of perverse incentives, especially when it involves government officials or individuals with advance knowledge." Please stop the insider trading and betting and sign companion bills ( S. 4115 and H.R.7995) the BETS OFF Act.
