I am writing to demand that you call for the immediate removal of Attorney General Pam Bondi from office and initiate a comprehensive investigation into her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and apparent protection of powerful individuals implicated in these cases.
During her testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, Bondi demonstrated a disturbing pattern of obstruction and disregard for survivors. The Justice Department under her leadership released millions of files with grossly inadequate redactions, exposing victims' names and in some cases nude images of survivors whose identities had been protected for decades. When survivors stood to indicate they had been denied meetings with the Justice Department, Bondi dismissed legitimate questioning as "theatrics" and refused to apologize. Survivor Marina Lacerda stated that Bondi "hasn't taken any of our calls" and accused the department of trying to "intimidate us into silence."
The evidence of improper protection is clear. Billionaire Les Wexner's name was initially blacked out despite his documented connection to Epstein. When Congressman Ted Lieu questioned why photos from the Epstein files showing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had not been used for prosecution, Bondi deflected rather than answering. Republican Thomas Massie, who has reviewed unredacted files, called this issue "bigger than Watergate" and demanded accountability for these failures.
Additionally, Bondi's accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred from low-security to minimum security prison after meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, despite Maxwell's role in facilitating Epstein's crimes. Congressman Deborah Ross correctly stated Maxwell "needs to be moved back to a maximum security prison as soon as possible."
I urge you to publicly call for Bondi's resignation, support a full congressional investigation into the Justice Department's handling of these files, and demand accountability for what appears to be deliberate protection of powerful perpetrators. The survivors deserve justice, not cover-ups.
