Hakim Jefferies cannot be allowed to become house speaker. He has shown through his actions and words that he cares more about Jared Kushner and Haley Stevens than he does the will of the voters. He keeps trying to divert attention away from holding Republican criminals accountable, which makes him complicit in their crimes (assuming he wasn't already). Tuesday's results show that the nation wants change. We want the terror to stop. That cannot happen by making compromises with the terrorists. Jefferies probably shouldn't be in congress at all, but allowing him to keep a leadership position will hobble the Dem party and and probably cost us the next election. For the love of our country, please pressure him to step down. Personally I think that AOC would be an amazing speaker and exactly the leader we need in this moment of history, but I'm sure there are many representatives who would excel in the roll. Reps who fight for our freedom, rights, and dignity. Jefferies has sold us out time and time again. Do not work with him, and for the love of everything do not allow him to remain in leadership.
