An Open Letter

To: Sen. Hawley, Sen. Schmitt

From: A constituent in Festus, MO

November 18

Today I am writing to ask you to vote for the release of the full, unaltered and unredacted Epstein files. If the President is innocent, as he claims, he should have no problem with the records coming out, in fact, he said Sunday that they should be released. Reports are circulating that Speaker Mike Johnson only allowed the vote in the House to take place today because he expects Senate Majority Leader John Thune and other senate Republicans to block the release. This cannot be allowed to happen. These women have been through years of horrible sexual abuse, trafficking, and have gotten pushed aside while the rich and powerful who committed those acts are protected. I don’t care whose names appear in the files, famous, not famous, royalty, Democrat, Republican or whatever. If they were part of Epstein's network of sexual predators, they should pay for their crimes, even if it is just in the court of public opinion. Release the files!
