Conditions inside the ICE Detainment Prisons are reportedly unsanitary, disgusting, and inhumane. Detainees are refused access to due process, or even access to their attorneys. Our congress people have routinely been denied access to perform oversight of these facilities. These prisons are privately owned. Since prison management is not cooperating, they should be replaced. I urge you to de-privatize the ICE prisons and bring prison management and ownership back under government control. Our tax money must not be a source of profit for private hucksters who force innocent people into inhumane conditions and deny prisoners due process or even a shred of human decency. Take back our prisons NOW.
