The legislature has been called back to session for a gas tax holiday vote. This is clearly and effort to make voters feel good in the runup to the election. However it will cause the state to miss large amounts of revenue and will benefit people traveling though Ohio and than leave Ohioans to foot the bill for their discount. It has been claimed that money is tight why make the next state budget cycle harder and make Ohioans pay for out of state people and companies to save on gas and diesel? In Ohio the state budget has out more and more on the local budgets and has been cutting programs and hurting Ohioans make it stop.
