I understand that the Senate is likely to pass the Laken Riley Act and send it back to the House with amendments. I expect the Congressmember to vote against it there. This bill exploits the tragic death of Laken Riley to sow widespread fear of immigrant communities. It’s a stepping stone to mass detention and deportation with no due process. Vote NO.
