Please do not fund ICE until they agree to reform the organization’s way of performing its duties as follows: No Masks, wear ID, Have warrants signed by a Judge, Due process for each incarcerated individual, Humane treatment in detention centers, Congressional oversight of conditions in detention centers, Arrest only immigrants who have committed a violent crime, Immigrants currently undergoing the immigration process allowed to stay and continue the process, Demonstrators and bystanders to be treated with respect, No deporting to a dangerous nation or to a nation foreign to the immigrant, and it should be without saying, do not arrest American Citizens, including indigenous First Nation folks. There may be more reforms required that have not come to mind. Therefore, Congressional oversight should have the power to require any reform of ICE that they deem necessary.
