Protect the Presidio. My favorite park in SF is the Presidio. The well maintained and accessible trails are wheelchair friendly which made it possible to bring my family when dad recovered from surgery. The food trucks and cafe means I don’t have to pack food everytime. There’s easy parking. A beautiful view of the bridge. Tunnel tops park when my niece and nephew adore playing. And Trump is trying to destroy it by firing the board of directors who manages it. While this is not the most urgent issue, if CA can’t protect its highly visible national parks that will hurt tourism, local residents and businesses, and our quality of life. If Trump was impeached and removed this wouldn’t be needed but we unfortunately have Congress not up to the task of enforcing the constitution. Given this - we need to also fight for everything from healthcare to local parks.
