Congress must vote on the war power resolution now. There’s nothing in the constitution that says a president can start a war and wage a war for 60 days without authorization from congress. And what is going to happen between now and then? We have two real estate guys and JD Vance doing diplomacy. The real estate guys already messed up once. They have no idea what they’re doing. The real estate guys are most likely more interested in how they can use the situation to enrich themselves. We also have a president posting crazy things on social media and a former Fox News host with questionable credentials and character saying and doing crazy things on behalf of “The Department of War”. It’s going to be more of the same or worse. Congress needs to find the best way out of the mess the Republicans allowed to happen.
